This story has been updated. With rounds of heavy rain moving through the area, a Flash Flood Warning is now in effect for all of Fairfield County on Tuesday afternoon. Round Of Storms Could Bring Damaging Winds, Large Hail To Area
When thunder roars, head indoors. Area residents should keep that in mind late Thursday afternoon into the early evening as a cold front passing through could bring thunderstorms accompanied by potentially damaging winds with large hail also possible, the National Weather Service says.
