Two Shot At Winslow Twp Wawa: Prosecutor Two people were shot at a Wawa in Winslow Township Sunday, Oct. 4, authorities said. At 9:07 p.m., officers responded to a Wawa on the 400 block of Sicklerville Road and found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Winslow Township Police Chief Donald Lemons said. He was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition, authorities said. Another 20-year-old man walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.

Juvenile Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Upper Freehold Parking Lot: Njsp A juvenile was struck and killed by a vehicle in a parking lot in Monmouth County Saturday, Oct. 3, authorities said. At 11:07 a.m., a 66-year-old Roselle Park woman and a juvenile were exiting a parking lot on Emleys Hills Road in Upper Freehold Twp and when they were struck by a Chrysler SUV exiting a parking space in reverse, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The juvenile was pronounced dead at the scene while the woman was transported to a nearby hospital, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

DUI Lower Township Teen Driver Charged In Deadly Route 9 Crash A 19-year-old Lower Township resident was arrested after he drove drunk in a crash that killed a 56-year old man on Thursday, Oct. 1, authorities said. Edward McVey is charged with vehicular homicide, driving under the influence and assault by auto, driving under the influence, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Lower Township Police Chief Donald Vanaman Jr. said. McVey collied with a vehicle with two occupants, killing a 56-year-old man and seriously injuring a 36-year-old man on Route 9 in Lower Township, authorities said. The victim has not been identified.
