Police in Connecticut rushed to a McDonald's on Tuesday, June 13, after receiving reports of gunfire, but when they arrived, they found a much different, though still chaotic, scene, authorities said.
Meriden police rushed to the restaurant located at 783 East Main St. shortly before 5 p.m. However, no one had fired a gun. Instead, for an unknown reason, a car crashed into a 13-year-old boy and a 62-year-old woman as they were leaving, officials said.

Xavier Soto, 34, is charged with murder, criminal use of a firearm, risk of injury to a child, and first-degree reckless endangerment, Hartford Police said.
