Lakewood Fugitive Accused Of Luring 16-Year-Old Girl Surrenders, Police Say
Lakewood police on Sunday night announced the arrest of a man who they say tried luring a 16-year-old girl who recorded the whole incident on her phone last month. Julio Anchia, 40, of Lakewood, surrendered to local authorities Sunday afternoon, two days after he was identified as a suspect, police said. Anchia is accused of trying to lure the girl into his vehicle with the intent of engaging in sexual acts at the Highpoint Condominium Complex on March 31, authorities said. Flemington Man, 19, Charged With Luring
A 19-year-old Flemington man was being held in the Warren County Jail on charges of luring and endangerment, authorities said. Edwin Ramirez was arrested Feb. 16 on second and third degree charges, respectively, Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael J. Williams, Acting Chief of Detectives Frank R. Crisologo, and Flemington Borough Police Chief Jerry Rotella said. No further details were released. Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teen In Motel Apprehended In Rockland County
A 33-year-old man accused of luring and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old child in a motel last November was apprehended in Rockland County, authorities said. Michael Torenheim, of Brooklyn, was captured in Spring Valley by members of the US Marshals Office, New Jersey State Police and Wall Township Police Department, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. A West Milford man sent sexually explicit images to an underage boy and had him do the same, authorities said. New York State Police alerted authorities in Passaic County to Tekanand V. Singh, 28, who they said began messaging the boy after meeting him online.
